About The Department

      The Humanities and Sciences (H&S) department is the soul-the core of this esteemed institution. The H&S department of this college started functioning right from the inception of the institute in the year 2008. The H&S department comprises SEVEN sub branches/ disciplines namely- English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical, Mechanical and Management sciences. As an integral part of the institute, the prime focus of H & S department is to provide a conceptual and strong base in Basic Sciences which form a foundation to the Engineering subjects. The Department of H&S allows students to tailor their course of study to their needs and interests while assuring breadth in their learning.

    The department takes pride in having well experienced faculty with excellent Educational and Research background from various esteemed institutions. The Faculty of the department plays a pivotal role in shaping and grooming a student’s personal and professional growth. This is where the first year students are emphasized to cultivate discipline, ethics and professionalism in their Engineering studies. They aim to make them autonomous and life-long learners. The department is always encouraging the faculty and students to conduct/ Participate in workshops and seminars to keep abreast of the knowledge and methodologies in the respective fields of Engineering & Research.
